Katou Shigeaki (AKA ‘Shige’) considers himself pretty elite. lol, he made that very clear on his SCP episode. ♥ He’s just waiting for everyone else to realise it and join and revive the fallen Katou Kingdom. It’s pretty hard to make yourself stand out when you have both Nishikido Ryou and Yamashita Tomohisa in your group. Even Shige knows the only member of the Katou Kingdom is Koyama. We kind of can’t help but imagine that Shige is always mentally shaking his fist at Yamapi (and Ryo, to a lesser degree). But Pipi just goes

Once upon a time, long, long ago, Shige tried to start negotiations with the Yamashita and Nishikido Kingdoms to reinstate the Katou Kingdom. The negotiations, sadly, ended in failure.

My sole supporter, Koyama, is always at my side, but I still dream of the day when the rest of the group and then the rest of Japan recognises my incandescent personality and awe-inspiring talent.

Shige (Koyama at his side), unable to secure his reign within NEWS, has set his sights on joining the Eito Rangers as the Beige Ranger. So far, they haven’t taken him up on his offer … even though he’s provided his own cape. Heartless bastards.

Sigh.

Don’t get it wrong. Shige’s not a conceited douchebag. (I’m being serious totally serious here, by the way. I love Shige and I think he’s misunderstood and underappreciated.) He’s just elite. And he knows it.

But the Nishikido and Yamashita Kingdoms are always looking out for ways to sabotage (especially the Nishikido Kingdom, what a sneaky sonofabitch).

But maybe Shige would have better success if he treated his loyal subject better…. Mocking isn’t exactly going to inspire confidence, Shige.
